Frankenstein Mods Gone Wrong --- Or Maybe Right

I had access to a surface grinder when I was going to school and thinned down a Becker BK2. Worked well.

I wouldn't mind trying it on a NMFSH to bring it down to 3/16 thick range

That is a lot of grinding to thin an entire blank... you would have to to it really slow to keep the heat down. It would be way easier to find a similar model that is thinner and change the blade shape to your liking. Like dropping the tip of a thinner FBM to match an NMFSH shape as that is very close to what was done. No spine scallops and the drop point pretty much is what turns an FBMLE into an NMFSH. There is a slight difference in handle angle, but not much. Just something to think about.

You see freak, I see improvement. Bet it cuts and pokes into things much better now, and after all, isnt that all that matters? If wanna get rid of it someday Rob Id buy it, but dont know why you would, looks good.

It's super slicey and it's a vicious poker! I only say Freak or FrankenMod because it's not as pretty as originally intended and because it's asymmetrical. Functionally -- it's great though :)
