I just received this little baby yesterday. Ordered from the very quick people at www.couteaux-courty.com (Courty et fils) in Paris.
I had never handled one of these little knives, and I am amazed at how small they are. In the hand, it is very comfortable and thanks to the buffalo horn grips and the finger ring, very secure.

A great little knife. It is already one of my wife's favorite knives, which is great support for future purchases. The high-tech appearance of many of my factory favorites isn't as appealing to her as the organic and slightly unfinished appearance of the Perrin knife. My only druther is that it would have come with a multi-carry sheath instead of the neck sheath. Will have to remedy that.

Try putting a loop of paracord through the eyelets, and using that as a "static cord" for IWB or in-pocket carry. Works well, at least with Mr. Perrin's longer Griffes.

That's a nice one, Architect! I've liked all the LaGriffe's I've seen, esp. the tribals, and that's no exception. Temper line came out good in the picture too. Congrat's!:)

Some good suggestions on the para cord. These little sucker are great knives. Fred does a fantastic job on the heat treat and temporing. I have been highly impressed with the edge and the edge retention on the tribal he made for me a couple of years ago.

I find myself carrying the knife in my pocket so I might have to give the paracord a try too.

That's a great Griffe. I have played with it some time ago when I went to see what's new at Courty&Fils ;). Every time I visit their shop i have to strugle very hard not to buy another one :D

I use a static cord on my La Griffe, works great...except if I wear baggy pants with no belt...I've had it slip down a couple times with one pair of pants in particular...which isn't as bad as the time I had the cord come untied (!) and the whole thing fell down my leg and landed on the ground, when getting off the bus to work. That got some interesting looks from people ;)

For posting the picture...they are great little knives, and I totally agree on the edge holding dynamics. Mine actually surprised me it stays sharp so long....
