Free E-Book. "Ancient Skills" by Coote

Awesome stuff Coote, thanks so much. I thought I was in for a booklet, then I saw the 99 page count. Holy cow. Can't wait to get through this!

Thanks, Coote, that's very generous. Are there any online sites that sell the hardcopy version?

Thanks for all the nice comments. I'm passionate about primitive technology and it is a pleasure to share ideas with interested folks.

Welcome to the forum Efahl. There may be one or two places offering the hardcopy, but I haven't shipped any hard copies to any bookstores for a long time now. I have just a few copies at home, but I've kinda promised them to others.

I can get it reprinted, but I'd have thought it wasn't worth the cost/risk considering that I am now giving the content away for free!!

It has been suggested that I should make a more elaborate edition with more pictures, and maybe I should. But that may be a while off. I was thinking about including more material next time .... perhaps with a decent section on snares and traps.... and possibly a bit on some more metaphysical stuff (perhaps I should use a term like 'the useful paranormal', but I dont really like it). Maybe the next book should be totally different.

Best wishes.... Coote.

Coote,
Thanks for the generous offer.
My system is having problems downloading right now, but I'll try again later and hope I can learn some good stuff from your research.

Coote,
Let me say too that the idea for a new edition of the hardcover and/or e-book with a section on the paranormal and it's acceptance by, and influence on, primitive cultures and their survival skills would be welcome.
Go for it!
