I have a large piece of iron wood, probally weighs about 70 lbs, it is a smooth grain, no burl or knots, I do not like it for scales, probally would be great for carvings or simple plain scales. I discovered that I am extemly allergic to it, it put me in ER twice before I discovered the cause. I live in Sacaremento Ca. send me a email if anyone is interested.
