Free Knife from BLADE Magazine. good idea?

I was flippin through the new March 200 BLADE Magazine which I bought at Kroger and they had 2 deals (which I found)

-1 year subscription + WEDGE KNIFE
(wedge is $9.99) (total of $28.90)

-3 year subscription + KERSHAW BLACK OUT
(kershaw is $40.00) (total of $ 98.99)

Both knives of course come with the word "BLADE" posted on it.

I really had my eye on the 3 year subscription that comes with the KERSHAW.

Mickey, I took the deal for 3 years, I figured it out to be $2.75 an issue and the knife was free, not a bad deal. Besides I love the knife and I really enjoy getting the magazine. If the knife were $40. it's the best $40 knife I own.
 
I also took the 3 yr. deal.I would of got the subscription anyway.The knife is allmost like an automatic.Love opening it.
 
I'm another one who took the three-year deal. No regrets.

I got the "Blade" Spyderco Q-clipit with a subscription a few years ago.(it's the only Spyderco I own)

Well I wouldn't have a Spyderco on the place
never did like the bigOhump blades with the hole thing but the Kershaw is a decent knife I have had one

I kinda wasnt realy impressed with spyderco knives too much either becuse I alays thought by having those BOG O's you contradict some of the strength in the knife..

JUST MY THOUGHTS
