Spyderco Superhawk: the knife knut's knife. Created entirely from input by forum members, it represents a rare, almost democratic method of designing a knife. Concieved to re-assert Spyderco's dominance in the hawkbill world and to serve as the successor to the Spyderhawk. Peel-ply carbon fiber handles, compression lock, flat ground VG-10. Exact dimensions unknown, but rest assured it will be large. Thanks for the contest, this is a fun idea.

Rat-7. Need a quality fixed blade, the Rat-5 really is too close in size to some of my folding knives. Want it to be dependable, and big, RTAK is too big for me to not look like Rambo with. I have a 710HS that I like a lot. I'd like a smaller version, and I wish I had bought a 705 when they were available. The 707 is esentially a 705 with aluminum scales.

I bought a couple of the Red Label Benchmades and was completely under whelmed. I would like to see if the higher grade Benchmade knives are of a better design than the (to me) very unimpressive Red Label knives.

The Phoenix caught my eye from the moment I saw it. I like the strength, security and ingenuity of the Ball Lock. The knife looks very comfortable, the white micarta looks classy. And I'm a big fan of VG-10 blades. VG-10 seems to be getting shoved out of the lime light with all of these new super-duper steels making their way into the market, but it's probably my favorite overall folder steel right now.
