Free Okapi And Opinel Contest

Look into your heart, Steve. Are you going to deny Mr. Fluff-Fluff and Widdle Jimmy the chance at a normal life that lucky little Rocky was given? I know you're a good man. I know you'll do the right thing.

I feel like I'm playing one on one with michael Jordan here...Jake's on a whole nuther level;) :D I don't have a chance:(

Hmm...one each Okapi and Opinel...seems to be just right.

There's a duality of nature in Jake: he seems nice enough most of the time, then he draws upon a dark side fully tapped into the weakness of normal humans' spirit, AND has artwork to permeate any purely logical response to mere words.

Send him the French one. He probably has a thin moustasche which he twirls in evil victory.

Here are the outstanding prizes you are competing for in this international and one of a kind contest. Keep posting your entries. Don't give up. You can make multiple posts. There are some top reasons, why, already on this thread from knife collectors that truly appreciate fine imported cutlery.

The attached photos show both wonderful prizes with a ruler.

Another pictures the rare and collectable Opinel properly depicted on a white flag.

The final picture does justics to the sought after Okapi on it's historically correct stand.

Only six more days until the contest ends!

Thanks, Steve Poll

hi,

just saw it on their website today, try the link i left, it's in french which i have so far managed to avoid learning, but hopefully there is a way of ordering one there. it appears to come without a sheath, but looks cool.

it's listed on the page you get to from the 'les offices' button on the index page.

p.s. i might suggest that you do an ebay search on 'opinel office' - you may get lucky

Alllllright. OK, I've seen enough.

Just give the knives to Jake. Nobody's gonna top that.

Unless they eat something disgusting, ala "Fear Factor."

Wayyyyy disgusting.... like cat food on a cracker. And post pix.

And we can tell the difference 'tween that and Armour® Potted Meat.

Usually...

Ad Astra

Hi Ad Astra:

It wasn't my intent to have somebody eat something disgusting like Fear Factor, but if you think it should be a qualification let me know. You have been on this forum longer than me and I bow to your insight.

I don't know where to get those huge cockroaches or large quantities of worms and things.

Hi Krockew:

How can you get luckier than a free exotic knife?

I think I should get one because I will post a review of it after I get to use it. I have never owned either type of knife and I like to try new things. I have been wanting to try out an Opinial or a Okapi for a while but haven't got around to buying one yet. I am a big fan of both carbon steel and thin full flat ground blades so I think I would make a good owner of one of these fine knives.

Also, as far as I can remember, I have not won anything! I have never won any sort of contest.

well, this is my first post, but I was refered by a friend. Figure I might as well give it a shot. Im 17...poor...and addicted to knives.:P

Hmm...depending on where you are located, giving a knife to a 17 year old may carry serious criminal penalties.

Welcome though...

I was given my first rifle for my tenth birthday.

Nothing wrong with a 17 year old having a knife. A young man of 17 can even fight in our military with parents permission.

I've given all my Benchmades and Spydercos to the starvin' children. Now I have nothing left to defend myself with against the communists! Free China! Okapi to the people!

Shao

I didn't say there was anything *wrong* with it Steve...just that there may be laws to the contrary.
