First, let me say that I don't especially like to make tacticals. BUT---over a year ago a fellow drove up to my shop on a 70's style Harley chopper asking to have this knife made. I let him talk me into it (probably because I liked his bike) and have not seen him since. I kept looking at the knife hoping that he would be back but I think it is about time to sell it off.

This knife is sold. Thank you Ted.

1/8 inch ATS34
Mirror finish
Hollow ground with a false edge on the spine
Green micarta handle material
Overall length:10 3/4 inches
Blade: 6 inches
Hand sewn leather scabbard

GL you made the knife and and can sure call it whatever you like but that is not what I picture when I hear tactical. I would consider that a Fighter or a Bowie.
But whatever you call it, it is a great looking blade.
And I am glad you included the in hand pic because I did not think it was that big from the first two pics.

I'm glad he talked you into it....sad you got stuck with the knife though.

I like it, looks like it's got a big meaty handle on it as well....and that makes sense to me if its meant with quick/course movements in mind. (scalpels have small handles-hatchets have big handles)

Good work like always.

Gerry, you sure are rough on your hands. They look just like knifemakers hands.....................I will be over your way on Mon. My wife scored 2 tickets to the biltmore house.

Man, I'm lovin the look of that one Gerry!

Hey Gerry, i think this is a fine looking knife. quite a deal with sheath included ! since i bought a knife on this forum yesterday, i really can't buy another one today, despite the great price. but that's o.k., someone else gets to be real happy this time. cheers, roland

A knife has many parts that makes it usable. The knife has the parts, another nicely crafted knife.

That's nice! I'm with you as far as not being much into tacticals, but that is a ice knife no matter what you call it!

Could you either post a spine shot or mention how wide (thick?) the handle is? A lot of guys complain about having large hands and handles not fitting them- this looks like it might be just the ticket

How's this. I didn't put calipers on the handle but with the ruler it looks like just under 1 inch thick. It is a beefy handle with a swell at the palm.

Gerry,
You made one like that for me about a year ago if I remember correctly. My brother uses it daily.
