How do I sign up? :D

Never tried it before, but would love to -- thanks for the generous offer.

I finally get to try this stuff out!:D Thanks for the opportunity, Tom!

All the best,
Mike U.

so, for those of us with little or no shop equipment..... how do we cut this talonite?

Very generous Tom! Let see, there are 5 of us so that would make a 1" X 10" piece total, I'll split it up between us so you don't have to.

I'm actually kind of curious where you buy talonite these days? I've had trouble finding it for sale on websites where I previously saw it.
Thanks.

1. I have sent out the 18 samples I had. I have more on order and everyone will get a piece. It will take a couple weeks I am afraid. This is a real offer and everyone who wants one gets a sample

If you want a sample please email president@carbideprocessors.com

2. These samples are essentially odds and ends from orders so the thickness is what we have.

3. I was asked about working Talonite by hand. The best answer is on our web site at http://www.carbideprocessors.com/Knives/index.htm At the bottom of the middle column is “A great knifemaking story.” It is hort, accurate and a lot of fun.

4. You can buy Talonite through Alpha Knife supply. Originally Rob Simonich sold it but it was a sideline for him while the Bybees sell knife supplies full time. http://www.alphaknifesupply.com

We supply Chuck and you can always contact us directly at sales@carbideprocessors.com or Mary at 800 346-8274. The price is the same either way and the Alpha site has lots of cool knife making stuff.

For Talonite info our web site is: http://www.carbideprocessors.com/Knives/index.htm

Tom,
Just got my sample in the mail. I'm heading back to the grinder to give it a try now. I apreciate the sample and will try to post a pic if I can come up with anything worth showing.

Tom
Got my sample today. My son and I are trying to decide on a style of knife or arrowhead we can make. Thank you very much!:D

Got my piece Friday. Thanks. Now I'm trying to decide how best to use it.
