Free Talonite samples

Got my piece today, loved Flavius's story, I'll take it to work where I have powered equipment to use.

It might take a little while but I'll post a pic when I'm done.

Thanks to all who posted that they got their samples. I hate running a promotion and not being able to fill orders immediately. However the response to this offer is many times greater than I ever had before. I had 18 to start and gave all those away. As of today I have requests for 47 more samples. They are coming but it will be a bit.

I appreciate the honesty and courtesy of those who have described themselves as amateurs or beginners. We would be happy to send piece to anyone who wishes to try it. Everyone starts with their first knife. A big part of the reason I like the Flavius story so much is that he actually made a knife. A lot of guys talk about but never seem to do it. Also Flavius knows what his knife looks like but he is really proud of it anyway. He is really proud of something he made, he loves it no matter what and he had a lot of fun doing it. That is pretty much how knife making ought to be.

Also the best way to understand why Talonite is as good as it is is to work it. Once you see how hard it is to cut and grind you really understand why it cuts so well for so long. Once you see that a hack saw blade refuses to bite then you understand what the high lubricity really means.

We pay postage
Many of you have offered to pay shipping and postage. That is really nice. However we will pay it. It just feels better to us to-do it this way. We hate to charge for anything unless we are sure the customer will like it.
