I'd say switch to the Spyd M right after the DMT EF, then do Spyd F, Spyd UF.


But I'll defer to someone else who's actually *done* that progression. I'm just making an educated guess.

I played around a bit with my DMT Diasharp EF and the Spyderco Medium last night. The DMT does cut more aggressively than the Spyderco Medium. Obviously the scratch patterns are different.

I think I will probably go from the DMT EF to the Spyderco Medium and then the Spyderco Fine. I don't have the Spyderco UF. The Spyderco medium seems to really "clean up" the DMT EF scratch patterns pretty well. If you're going for a mirror finish, I think you should use the Medium between the DMT and Spyderco Fine/UF.

But, this is just my opinion after some limited use last night.
