French Style Trade Axe/Hawk with edge sheath **SOLD**

This is a french style trade axe forged in the traditional wrap & weld method. This axe happens to be made entirely of 1065. Stamped with a quarter moon and our touch mark and left with a forge finish. The head is appx 5 3/4" long with a cutting edge appx 3 1/4" wide..The haft is hickory burned and stained 19" long. The sheath is a simple edge cover with a keeper strap. Not beautiful but serviceable

Yea, I know but its plain and forged finished We'er breaking one of the two most sacred rules of blacksmithing pricing it like that
