Edge length ranges from 4" to 4 1/2", @5 1/2" from edge to back of the eye.

These are all "Beautiful" Hawk's Keith, The Large French Thrower's I got from you are Sure Nuff my Favorite Hawk's In my Collection, Along with my Large American and the Hammer Pole Camp Hawk I got from ya, Keep Up the Great Work ! I know these aint gonna last long,

I like the long beard on those hawks Keath, they make even a poor hawk thrower like my self more competitive.

Got my hawk. Interesting way to forge. It is light and very quick in the hand. Always liked the french style lends itself for fighting as well as general camp duty. The shaft is very nice as well. Did you turn the shafts yourself? My grandson is coming down for Thanksgiving and I am taking him on his first hike/overnight camp trip. This one will be going along with Gerry's primitive knife. Be a good chance to put them to use. Thanks again Keith very, very nice hawk.

Got mine to the woods last weekend.

Way too easy to throw, even if you never tried before.
