Just want to say my BB file guide has become indispensable. If you don't have one of these, get it while you can!!!

Thanks much for the orders coming in guys.
I have to say that since Brian has taken over on the file guides they have never been better. This batch is flawless in fit and finish due to much tighter tolerances by another CNC shop. Our cost has risen somewhat but we are only increasing our price tag by the same amount.

Please feel free to ask questions.

is it true the carbide will strip the teeth from a file? i had read this somewhere online. if so i will only use it on the grinder. the jantz model is only hardened steel and i have worn some of it away in the past year.

It is true that a file can lose some life as there is nothing that cuts carbide except for a diamond. That said dont forget that everything in a knife shop has a life span. A good file costs about the same as a good grinding belt. I haven't bought a file for several months but only use them on the final fit up. Take most of the metal off with the belt and finish it with a file. (not a diamond file) :)

Got mine today, it's a quality hunk of steel. I'm a firm believer in buy once, cry once and this tool should outlast me. Can't wait to give it a shot. A+++
