Ummm, no piccy showing up dude!!

very nice knife...

curious of how you got the snake to hold the knife without a trip or two to the hospital
(i know that was bad)

but a very nice knife none the less

Easy, Mike distracted it while I sat the knife on him and took the picture quick. :D

If you are making 60 of these knives, you"ll get to the point where you will be able to do them in your sleep. Nice knife, Bruce and Mike.

Bruce as usual beautiful workI.
"Dangerous curves"
I love all the curves in it. The front of the slabs curving around your
logo is very cool. My eye is drawn to the bottom of curve around your logo.
It is squared off. Did you think about making it curvaceous too?
I ask this knowing I have never made anything that come within 5% of your work!!!!!!!!!

Thats a good question.
I think I will put a slight round on that, just to soften it up some. On the prototype I did a 45 degree angle there and on the top one too but had problems when I carved out for the logo on the left side scale.
Just a slight radious on the bottom one would look better and wont take but a second to do. Thanks! Thats good avice. This is one reason why Im showing you guys before they go on the market. You guys have looked at thousands of knives and I value your opinions.

Boy am I glad you asked that Tom! I feel the same way Bruce. I think it's a great knife with OBVIOUSLY great craftsmanship, but I personally would like to see less hanging down infront of the finger groove. Just kinda interrupts the great flow you have going with the rest of the knife.
Great knife just the same,

Very Nice Bruce! But you are going to get very tired of them :)
Don if I didnt have some help from Mike I would have never taken them on. It has already cut into my cut n shoots but money is money and I'm in the business. It helped trememdously to have them water jet cut and heat treated. Finish grinding and rubbing them out seems to be the real time consumer. The G-10 handle scales are also cut out for us. I bought a Tippman sewing machine and a whole cow worth of leather. It takes about 45 minutes to make a sheath now.

Bruce what are these running each?

Sam, I cant advertise on Shop Talk. Very soon I will have some ready for my web site and the "Fixed Blades for Sale" forum here.

I can tell ya they should be great knives as Ive spared no expense and work on them. They're made for serious hunters and users and are priced so we can make a profit but yet be affordable.

For me this is a sort of experiment to see if we can be efficient enough in our process and procedures to make my knife business pay off. There is so much wasted time in the shop turning out one or two knives and barely paying off the machines and belts let alone putting money in the bank for the family bills. Im not trying to get rich, Im convinced that wont happen but I love making knives and guns so much that I dont think Im good for anything else anymore. In order to live out my dreams this job will have to pay off or Im going to flip burgers and quit shaving.

Great knife Bruce and Michael! Good luck in your endeavor. Bruce I'm not sure how you'd look in a beard!
