As per the usual, SHOT was a blast. Getting back east was a drag thanks to Jonas but after being stranded in Las Vegas for a bit, I eventually made it back.

The KaBar booth was a display destination - especially BK&T and, in particular, Ethan. That's right, The Man himself dutifully manned his station each and every morning promptly at 0830 (or thereabouts ) mixing and mingling with the faithful and the curious. Many came to see Ethan and many stopped to see his knives; he had lots of traffic. Look, we all love KaBar knives, but clearly Ethan was the draw.

This year I thought I saw more people. The weather was splendid if not a bit dreary at times for a desert but seeing folk I only get to see once a year was a treat - but waiting on what seemed like a perpetual line for Ethan was challenging yet inspiring.

lies! filthy lies.

without pictures :D

I would like to ditto what everyone is saying here.

Alright already. Here's a couple of quickies just to prove I was in Vegas last week. No pics of Ethan or his knives; he was like a rock star - couldn't get near him!

Here's me in my protective suit prepared for the flak I'm going to get for not having any pics of Ethan and his knives at SHOT.

I have been searching for pictures of the Ka Bar booth and Becker knives at SHOT 2016 online... So far, no leads... Maybe some will show up soon...

My two cents, but the best part of SHOT was speaking with Ethan. Got to tell him in person how some of his tools have helped me and others. Knowing that there is a good man behind these knives simply ensures my use of these blades until God takes me home.
Even then...I'll probably still have one on me.
