So I sent a truckload of steel to Ban awhile back and got them today, let me tell you, Ban is the Man!

Fuzzies with a 5/16" thick blade!

I got fuzzies fine enough to start a good fire with no other tinder, just the fuzzies and a ferro

right on.. those suckers look sharp... i bet you're stoked... Ban can put a wicked edge on a knife that's for sure... he's a way cool dude too...:thumbup:

we have get togethers at his shop fairly regularly... if you're ever around the bay area...

Yeah, I finally got to handle some of Ban's work at the last get-together, and man his FBMLE (if I got it right, correct me if I'm wrong Mike) was nice! I really liked his Fusion Steel Heart though, that was one nice blade I'd like to pick up, maybe before the FBM....

sorry to get off topic... we normally meet up at night... there are quite a few of us in the bay area... Ban lives in san jose.. i live about 35-40 min. away, in santa cruz...
