There is no flipper tab, as its a friction folder - not a flipper.

Most likely a 'protuberance' in a straight line from the spine and back as in for example on the Svord ff.

This opens the knife and your hand holds it down to keep the knife closed in use

My fault, flipper was not the proper word, protrusion from spine more like it. Thanks.
