Friction Folder EDC?

Hi Gang- Who carries a friction folder for EDC?
I used to carry on for awhile but I have come to realize that a pocket clip is a must and my friky did not have one. But, I just ordered one, chisel ground :D, with a Ti pocket clip, from Eric Bonner and I do believe this friky is going to get a lot of pocket time. For basic EDC, a fricky is really all the knife one needs. The design is so simple and your hand is the lock.
I will get pix up when I get the knife.

I feel the same way you do! Just ordered one from Custom Bladeworks in Belgium, just for the modern design!

This is cool, as are a number of the other designs there. Can you tell me more about this knife maker, including ordering/cost? PM or email is fine if necessary.

Nice knife, orixa, thanks for the pic.
CJZ- I know but upgrades "can" be a good thing.
I have a really nice Red Friky from Filip DeLeeuw but this one is just for look'n at. :D

Look in the traditional area and there seem to be an awful lot of folks who carry friction folders from Opinel, Case etc. They are about the only choice still allowed in GB and some other EEC countries apparently. Spyderco has quite a few friction models for that specific market. Also the vast majority of Swiss Army Knives fall into that category and are used for EDC by many.

Snody makes a nasty friction folder, even has a Ti/carbide blade version.

He also made a video putting it through some tough use.

Just Google Custom Bladeworks. The model you see in the pic is the "Hybrid" model, S30V with G10 sacles, full Ti liners, plenty more pics in the website. Just a quick note, he won't answer questions in his "comments" area, you need to choose the "contact" area to email him, prompt reply.

Thanks Gang.
I have to say that for the money, a Svord Peasant knife is still hard to beat. Usually, classics are.

Huge Respect.

Who made that sheath nepki? That is super nice.

Gotta love horizontal carry, that's how I carry my spare mags.

Yeah am loving the horizontal carry.

The sheath maker is from Malaysia Knife Forums, goes by the name 'landroza'. You need to send in your knife for him to do the custom fitting. Not feasible if you are not in Malaysia unfortunately.

Yeah that's a long way from Oklahoma. Beautiful work, though. That's just a cool set up man.

How is the Ti/carbide edge holding up? Does it really work? I've never had any experience with it.
