friction folder from leftovers.

I had a stub of O-1 to short for anything else I could think of so I made this friction folder .The liners are 1/8" aluminum leftover from making some body panels for a chopper I was making. Walnut scales are cut offs from a bow handle. This has a bronze bushing and mylar washers for a very smooth action.

This was a good learning project as my first folder. Comments are welcome.
 
wow thats a great idea!
I have some left overs I dont know what to do with and I always wanted to try to make a friction folder!

Neat little knife.I make quite a few Friction folders as they are fun and sell well. Keep up the good work.Dave:)
 
I like it! IMHO, it deserves a better screw head than Phillips, other than that, it is really nice!

Great little knife, and a good use of small pieces. I for one hate to throw anything away that might be usefull.
