I've been concentrating on making these friction folders over the last couple of months and think they've come out pretty good, but of course I'm biased. I was wondering what you guys think. I'd like to get a knifemaker membership soon and start to make some money back hopefully. All comments are welcome, just be honest, you'll be helping me out that way.

Specs:
Blue knife:
D2 flat ground blade 2 7/8" in length 3/32" stock
2x2 blue and black g10
1/8" pivot, 1/8" overtravel stop press fit
6al4v liners with an aluminum backspacer
bronze bushings
1.9 ounces

Red knife:
d2 flat ground 2 7/8" in length 3/32" stock
burgundy micarta
1/8" pivot, 1/8" overtravel stop
6al4v liners with cp4 backspacer
bronze bushings
2 ounces

Tried to get another picture of the plunge lines. kinda blurry

Thanks,
Leif

These look great! Very clean. I especially like the opening lever. The one in blue/black micarta is a knockout.

I really like the burgundy. The blade work is really clean. The only thing I could suggest to change is the squared off shape. I think it is a love it or leave it shape. I personally like it, but given a choice, I like organic shapes better. I don't think you would have much trouble selling knives this well executed.

Some very nice work !!! I think it's good to go if that's the styling you like and think will work for you. Frank

Thank you gentlemen, I really appreciate the encouragement. I know you guys have a shrewd eye. If I did any kind of half stepping I'm certain you'd notice it immediately.

that is a friction folder I would put in my pocket!!

Great slim design. The grinds look good too

I really like the blue and black G10 one, but they're both really good looking knives. These remind me of Shun's Higo Nokami.

I took a quick look at the first six photos and thought, "Hmmm, looks sort of blocky?" Then I saw photo #7 - the fully open shot and said, "Wow, that is a great looking knife."
Great job.

add a pocket clip and I'll pre-order one;-)

Dammit Leif! I'm trying to think of something negative to say so that I could be of more help. Unfortunately, I think they are awesome as is. Happy customers are in your future.

I like them, they look well done. Plain lines sometimes have an appeal all their own.

I do think you need to change the date on your camera though. ;)
