Friction folder

Here is a little fricton folder i made awhile ago, all steel i even forged the rivet. I learned alot by making this one, will be interesting to try another soon.

That is one piece of work, I really do not understand how you did it all in steel like that. Congrats.

:D thanks guys! James, i took a peice of mild steel and folded it over like a taco. I cut 1/2 of the fold part itself back to allow the blade andle to swing fully back, the finished the blade and handle stub shaping, drilled the handle and blade, heat treated the blade, then forged the pin, then riveted it in like a set of tongs. Mitch, I wanted to make a friction folder but did not have nice enough wood or antler, plenty of steel though so i used what i had. The blade is steering rod.
