I think I want to try and make some of these. I have seen the tutorials online on british blades and paleo. I have also seen one here on BF. Can any one add some advice on making these. Any gotchas I need to worry about. I want to make one with a bottle opener. Any info is appreciated. Thanks guys!:thumbup:

You ever seen Karate Kid? Well, you gotta start by clapping your hands together really firmly and then rubbing them back and forth very quickly to create enough friction. That will get you started.

It helps to get some sturdy cardstock, balsa wood, etc.. and make cut outs of your proposed blade and handle, with a hole in the cardstock/balsa wood to put a pin in and check how the blade will sit in the handle, and if the pivot point needs to be moved.
