Friction Folders!

I've really been interested in friction folders lately, and I'm thinking of picking one up as a sort of gentleman's knife/travel knife for places with restrictive knife laws. Plus, FF's are pretty cool! Any ideas? Here's what I'm looking for, but please don't hesitate to recommend something you like even if it doesn't fit 100%.
-No preference as to custom or production
-Preferably blade length under 2.5" (for legality reasons)
-Wharncliffe or sheepsfoot would be ideal
-No real preferences on handle materials
-Budget: Ideally around $100, no higher than $125 or so

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

The Sardinian Resolza is a very traditional knife from Sardinia, mostly hand mad by local at=artisans. Rams horn is pretty standard as is the pointy blade shape. This one is from Senior Salvatore Usai.

Or you could try a Japanese Higonokami. Great slicers, flat in the pocket, very nice one hand action.

Used it to make a salad when I first got it, and it was slicing air.

I've got a higonokami, too. It's a fantastic slicer. They're so cheap that I think every knife enthusiast should get one.

What these knuts said.^
And, Nighthaxan and Grinchsmile make fantastic frikkies at a very good price.
I just started EDCing a friction folder and it's just the right knife for me.

I got this bit stouter hammer finished version. Still very classy gentleman knife!

Actually, Nap, both the Opinel and MAM are friction folders.
They have no back spring. They depend on friction between the blade and handle to keep them open and closed. The Opinel in size six and above does have a locking ring, but its use is optional. In fact, the ring was not added until 1955. Sizes five and below do not have the ring.
