friction folders

I don't do anything to the primary grind, which is also always a little off, but I do thin and even out the edge itself and bring the tip to a fine point. We're talking only $2.00 worth of work, after all. :)

Stuff usually ship out the day after it's ordered and goes out USPS Priority Mail which only takes 2-3 days. If doing Special Grade work on a machete that can sometimes take an extra day. But there'd be no delay on a Peasant Knife. :)

is it possible to find a good friction folder for under $30?
if so pictures and links?

Just a bit over $30

heh a bit late NEO XD
already got my eye on a peasant knife :P
which should be ordered by the end of today btw ;)
well atleast i know there is another option for when i am urged to purchace another knife :P

Were it not for Mantis being a questionable company in almost every single respect I'd almost be interested in those friction folders. But I don't care for the company nor the owner so I'll be passing there.

its here :D, i havent really gotten to USE it yet, but just sitting here playin with it, its pretty sweet.
there is that problem with the stop pin being a bit too small, but if i tighten the back screw it doesnt even reach it anyways :P
thanks everyone ;)

No problem! :D

I like to keep the tension of the bottom screw post such that fully closing the blade requires a gentle squeeze. The tension of the scales will keep the edge off the stop pin. :)
