Ahh,

Friday is here once more.

I'm working on a large integral this weekend. No way it'll get done. But that's about my only goal is to keep plugging on it.

Might go over to a friends this afternoon if the sky doesnt fall on us and do some damascus.

What going on with you guys?

Getting ready for the Party/HI tomorrow. Got the canopy up, tables and chairs. Got to start cooking this afternoon. Have beer on ice. We will be jamming tomorrow. :D

Hi Mark

First its get my 8 hours in and then it's home to finish up my first snake skin inlaid case for a bowie I'm doing for a local guy. Tomprrow I'll fire up the forge and work on a piece of damascus I have started, and then on sunday its time to get out on the boat fishing.Have a good weekend.

Shop time Saturday. SO far nothing in the house has broken....oops never mind I ain't going to say it!! Whew that was close.

Pretty much shop time for me for 4-5 hours each day this weekend. I am going to try to get some finish work done on the house. We've been doing some waffling on our plans for moving to NC, but looks they may be back on again. I'll address this in ATG.

Staining the house, washing one of the dogs (he's big and stinky), hopefully barbecuing something...

Party for my sis called off for this weekend, probably work some OT tomorrow instead, and on my b-day Sunday, going for a road trip! Any knife shops in Cecil County MD or in northern Delaware?

Time with the family, Shop time (Have a camp knife Im trying to finish up). Dinner with the wife on Saturday Night.

Finishing a couple things. Recovering from the world's worst f-ing trip to O'Hare last night. Took 16 hours (should be a 2.5 hour drive each way), gor home at 6:00 AM, slept 2.5 hours, rolled out to see patients all day. Got one flat tire, one chipped windshield, paid $25 for 4 hours of parking, and an A$$hole cop gave me a $50 "parking" ticket for accidentally getting behind a bunch of illegally parked cars while we were circling the airport. All in all, I have to say F Chicago and F O'Hare. Never, ever, again.

If you can, stop in at Harborside Bar and Grill in West Ocean City to see the boats come in. Pool tables and good looking bar maids, what more could you ask for?

For fishing, check out Bahia Marina and Sunset Marina if you got money to hemorrhage.

Sounds like they heard you was comin'! Sorta gives an all new meaning to that sign at the border "The People of Illinois Welcome You."! :D

FWIW, I don't much like going into Chicago, either. Like any big city, it has it's tricks to get by successfully. Those cars were parked there for just someone like you from out of state........ ;)

Looks like I'm gonna be hunkerin down and prayin!!!
Dennis the Menace has drawn a bead on this area and is expected to show up on Sunday.
I got the shop battoned down today but I'm still a little skiddish.
Last year, Ivan knocked down so many trees and houses and such between us and the gulf that acted as barriers, I think this ones gonna whomp us worse.
Sure hope the shop can hold up!!!
Haven't been using it much but I'm gettin back in the mood. Just need to get a new capacitor for my fan so it's not so darn hot out there.
Take care guys!!!!!!!!!!
Michael

Good luck, Michael. Tracy and Tam Dotsun were talking to us on Paltalk last night about this. Tony YSForge is probably in harm's way, too.

We'll be praying for you all to come through this intact and unscathed. In His infinite Mercy, God protect you all..... :)

Good luck L6!!

I've got a Bowie to try to finish up, a large camp knife to get ready for heat treat, might help kbaknife pound down some 1x1 5160 stock. That's what I have planned, hopefully I get at least one of those done. Our well pump went out last weekend, so maybe weekend I'm home repair free. Have a good weekend Fella's!

I can't believe they made the appointment at 8:00 pm Saturday evening :grumpy:

finishing unpacking from the move, waiting on the guy from the cable company to come on monday and hook up the internet for me (on the office computer now... no email) and My favorite thing... Picking up the power hammer tomorrow!

after that, I get to batten down the hatches for this stupid huricane :(

Tony

You guys on the gulf be careful and come through safely. I want to go redfishing so bad I could just spit. Something always gets in the way.
I've been playing with my youngest grandson (14 months) most of the day. He's a hoot and likes to play with hammers!
Managed to total the wife's Bronco II a few hours ago. Kid just pulled out right in front of me. Would have made the old swerve around work if he hadn't paniced and slammed on his brakes. Low speed impact but enough. Waiting on insurance inspector to show up tomorrow. It's an '98 so not likely to get enough to make the repairs. Good thing was no one got hurt. Guess she get's a new truck before I do this time.
Hope to finish off handles on the 9 blades I forged last weekend and get sheaths on them.

The wife is going out of town this weekend. So I get to spend some quality time with my two boys. Turn the grinder off for a change. maybe even relax
