I know what you mean, it seems like a chit in shape, but it looks more...field usable...I think is what I am looking for. The handle looks great and that heavy and long blade would make for a great martial weapon as well as a decent chopper. I am VERY jealous I didn't get to snag this one.

Now guys and ladies...I cannot say enough about this beast..and the word beast is used lightly...I love the way it was made and I bet Tirtha had his hands full with this...with the wide blade down to the tapered tang....rough in spots but that is expected.but all in all I really like her..she swings very nice and the handle fits well in the palm...this is one heck of a knife...Zombies beware......Domo Arigato Yangdu

Its so preeeetty. Oh well, it was not meant to be I guess. Love the grain on that horn handle. My 20" CAK will be here Thursday so I will have to post that up.
