Whoo hooo.

Last day at work for 9 days :D :D

Gonna try and get some forging in this w/e. Then next week , Deb and I are off to Washington State for few days to have a look at the place.

Cant wait , whoo hoo!!

School all day. Have a friggin midterm(2nd one this week, and had a report to do too:mad: ), been some of the nicest weather you ask for all week and I've been stuck inside studyin. Haven't been on my horse or in the shop once:( :yawn:
Gotta work this afternoon if I get out of the test in time. After that I'm not touchin a damn book till monday and I'm gonna hit the shop and the barn, and maybe go do some shootin too:D

Enjoy the trip Mark. I don't think I'd set my sights on washington though.....I've heard they got a lot of anti gun/anti huntin hippie types out there. Since you already got a good wife...maybe you don't care about stirrin up the neighbors though:D

Working in the shop. No honeydoo projects for me this weekend. My order backlog is creeping up there.
 
when are you leaving next week? I'll be finishing the KSS2 sheath this weekend. Maybe I should wait till you get back o send it to you :)...he he
 
I'll be going to the Georgia Custom Knifemaker's Guild Meeting in Columbus on Saturday. Having to work around kids soccer games and awards luncheons, but I'll be there as much as I can. Also re-doing a sheath I screwed up last night, and packing up 2 knives that I sold last week.
 
Going to see if my dog made sweet love. :D He's at my parents house trying to breed with their pointing lab, but she's not quite ready yet.

I got plenty of shop work to do and hopefully I finish up some forging and hand-rubbing.

Sunday, I'm going duck hunting -- woohoooo!! :thumbup: :D

Playin poker tonight and heavy drinking....tomorrow looking at houses in NH....sunday doing nothing.....
 
going to Ks to help get my Mom set up for winter.

made about 10 sq inch of home made denim micarta i started putting it on a blade so got to get that done got to see how it looks
and have an order i have to get started
not much other then that going on least at this point, things have a way of poppin up you know

ahhh well it pays the bills... i'm going to price up a new F250 tomorrow
hopefully i can get in the shop today and finish up a few more. have a good weekend everyone. except for IG:D
 
Michael, with sales so low the should be begging you to take a truck.....Hunting in a different place this year so I'll be scouting the property today.Almost hit a bear with my truck last night . I don't hunt them but I've seen more bear this year than ever before.
 
Kicking 'round in the Smokies tomorrow. Hopefully heat treating and possibly hafting my current project Sunday after church.
 
My ITC-100 and Kaowool still haven't arrived... if they don't come tomorrow, then I have to put off building the forge for another week. The good news that I finally have the choke design for the burner, so that's getting done this weekend. The forge body is getting finished this weekend too.

On Sunday I'm tutoring my friend for Algebra.
 
Driving about 70 miles away, to set up a table at the Mt. Vernon, IL knife show. Gotta scrape up some cash for incoming toys! :)
 
Looks like no joy this weekend for me. I'll probably end up spending too much of the weekend in front of my laptop entering contact info for all the accounts in my new sales territory into Outlook and preparing for a trade show next weekend. I might have a young maker come over tonight for a couple hours in the shop, but that's probably it for the weekend.
