Friday, Friday, Friday

Went out this morning did some crow hunting and then my buddy and I did a couple of small drives for deer. I had my crossbow, we had a small 4 pointer in a "squeeze play" but he gave us the slip. Anyway I'm off Sat. so I'll be catching up on knife work. Have a safe trip Mark.

Well..........................kinda:) we had him in a fence row heavy with green briars(God I hate them:mad: ) and thickets. He couldn't figure out how to get out. He was trying to bust through the wire fence because he couldn't jump over. He ran back and forth like a dog, I got within 10 yds of him but it was to thick for an arrow to penetrate. Finally he turned and bolted out from where he went in but was hauling ass and I couldn't hit him with the shot.

Mark, Bring rain gear and a rubber raft or boat when you head to the Pacific Northwest. We've had rain, up to at least an inch everyday of November so far and the long range forcast looks pretty much the same. Are you planning on going to the hammerin on the 19th and 20th of this month? If you would like information on it let me know.

GOOD NEWS!!!
My burner is mostly done at this point- I only need to drill and tap one other hole, and then extend the pipe through the hole. It's a modified, modified side arm burner.

My Kaowool and ITC-100 also arrived today, but my Dads not feeling great, so I can't get a ride up to the shop, and wouldn't have anyone to supervise the welding and cutting if I could.

Next week I should have everything up and running, and with all of my materials here- there's no excuse not to be forging within 2 weeks.

Washington is a big state, Mark, but if at all possible, visit Nick Wheeler in Winlock. It would be worth the entire trip! ---Sandy---

Wish I could Ray,

We're only going to be there for 4 days and hope to spend most of that looking at land.

Someday though:D

It's probably dry on the side he's going to Ray. All our rain is turning to snow on its way over the mountains.

Or are you coming out this way Mark (past the Mt.s)?

Not this trip Nick. We're primarily going to be looking around in the Colville area and area's North of there. Looks like it's gonna be a soggy cold and wet visit. Oh well, if we see the place at it's crappiest and still like it.............:D

Heading out early a.m.

Somebody do the Friday post for me, wish us luck.
