Looks like "Spring Cleaning" this weekend around here. I may sneak a little time to get ready for Trackrock next week. I need to fix up my anvil stand for sure.
 
Dinner and dancing with the missus tonite, get to become one with all the green loonies, heh! :D

Must be nice to have a Cabelas store close-by, Razorback... I'm still patiently waiting for them to realize that we have outdoor sports up here in the Pacific Northwest, too! :p

My brand new lathe is being delivered today.:thumbup: Me and my neighbor will be wrestling it into submission onto my shop bench tomarrow. Not sure how early tomarrow since we will be engaged in some exchange of blarney and a wee bit of the suds tonight. We are both Irish so there is a cultural obligation to imbibe just to maintain the tradition of course.

After all that dark beer and cabbage the shop may not be big enough for the both of us. It could get downright ugly!:yawn:
 
Overtime all day tomorrow, and then Sunday start putting up a new fence in the backyard. Y'see, if I clear all the kudzu and sticker bushes in one day, that'll leave holes in the fence. So, I have to clear a section and put up a section, clear a section and put up a section. We gots a big back yard, yessuh. But, I love my pups, so it's all good. Probably gonna have to put that fence on the back burner to repair the hole in the pool fence the puppy made. Left him out back with the big dog, he tore through the fence, jumped in the pool, and, according to my little brother, burst out of the water and practically ran across on top of the water to get out on the steps. Big dog didn't even go near the pool. Just thanking all thats Holy that he didn't tear the liner.

I think I may break a long temperance today and have a wee nip meself, but only a sip to go along with the pain pills. :thumbup: I've got Bushmill's Black Bush and Jameson on hand. Not wishing to be unfair, I'll have a thimbulful of each and hope they'll each forgive whatever order I choose. :D

Here's hoisting one to all you of Irish ancestry and those who wish they had some!! :thumbup:
 
killing pigs sat morning then check out some deer wallows the roar starts in 3/4 weeks then workshop sunday get some knives finished to send to england

Fitzo, instead of sampling all three just go with the one you think will taste the best on the way back up.

Pig killing? Is that something you can do with a hangover?

Any info on that show? I'm in Hanover and didn't really have much planned for Sat. I had thought I'd forge out a couple more blanks to work on. Sunday is my blacksmith guild monthly meeting, and I'm trucking my newly finished grinder down to let folks poke at and to weld up a part or two that needs weldin' (I don't have a stick welder and it's kind of heavy stock).

Hey SWEANY there is a shop tour Saturday at Briaon Tomberlins's shop in Norman Saturday from 10a.m. to approx 4.PM. yOU also need to check out the kga website for the setup for our late Fall Custom Knife Show. Come on by. It also looks like we may get some rain to settle some of these wildfires that have been playing havoc with the Statre lately. Mike
