Not that the day of the week means much any more , but what the heck :)

I've become somewhat of the fix-it man around here. Have a lawn mower frame to weld up for one fella and replace some brake pads on a tractor.

I'll be taking the better half out for a movie at the drive-in. Yes a drive-in :). It's great. All the locals show up in the trucks and sit in the bed with comfy chairs and coolers full of refreshments and food. Might see a grill cooking up some goodies here and there. I love small towns.

What the heck are ya'll doin this w/e ?

Working on a fighter from my first piece of W2, and my first clay coating so i have my hands full. They tore down the drive in here a few years back.

Been practicing engraving a lot lately waiting for my back to mend again. Like you, Mark, one day blends into the next and weekends have little meaning.

So, when are you going to post some pics of your efforts Fitzo? I know I'd like to see what you've been up to.... ;)

Not really prepared to do that yet, deker. :) Awhile back I mentioned that I "really, really suck" at engraving, though I love working at it. I've made some improvement, and now I just really suck. :barf: :D It's going to be awhile yet.

I am receiving my final tools from the move. My Beaudry, my press, anvil, forge and such are all coming in this weekend. I can set up where they need to be and then do the final finish work AND GET THIS THING RUNNING. I AM GOING APE TRYING TO GET IT DONE. Sucks not being able to forge. The forums keep me sort of sane. At least i can talk and read about it. So next week I hope to fire up. We'll see. Once it all settles down I'll have a BBQ to break it in. Any one interested??

Interested, but not able...You people all need to be moving to PA :)

Fitzo: You sound like you an I suffer from the same disease. No matter how good a thing I do is, I always feel like it's "not good enough" to show other folks ;)
