I'll be going over to my friend Jim Arbuckle's house Saturday and play around with some powder steels. Never done any of that so it should be a lot of fun.

Need to redo the liner of my welding forge tonight and try out some of that bubble alumina from Darren Ellis.

Might try another serrated knife :D

Working on knives for Blade. I've got one finished but it needs a sheath. The other three have been HT and need handle work and sheaths. I've also got a customer order to do. My Aunt passed away so we're going to the viewing probably Sunday and I think the funeral is Monday. Have a good w/e everyone.

Working my AZZ off on these friggin tappers for y'all. Gonna rain (maybe snow) here this weekend, so will be shut in anyway. Might as well work, right? Hey Mark, I got that idea of yours on my whiteboard in the shop. Soon as these tappers are finished I need to give you a call, okay?
 
I can tell the week end in near -- the clouds are moving in :grumpy:
A lady friend has a garage sale going and I show up every year to help -- maybe this year I should bring a book :rolleyes:
I put the charger on the motorcycle yesterday (the weekend forcast was still good THEN :mad: ) maybe i'll sneak out and get a hair cut. HEY at my age this is a big thing I STILL GOT HAIR :D
 
Had decent weather for the middle of the week and now we're back to the obligatory thunder storms for the weekend. Started yesterday, calling for more today :mad:
I've got 4 knives in progress that have been in progress way too long. I'm gonna try and get at least 3 of them done this weekend.
Other than that, I've got stalls to clean, and all kinds of other stuff to catch up on. Might go to a horseshow sunday.
Off to school now and then work from there :yawn:
 
Talking to the wife about heading to Blade for Friday. Hope I can get off work!!!
My anniversary is on Sat. so I'd have to head home Friday around 4:00 to get in at a decent hour.........

The fiance is going out of town with a couple of friends for her bachlorette party so I'll probably be cleaning the shop and trying to finish up some orders. Might toss back a few cold ones if I get the chance.
 
I am going ot try and make it to TrackRock this weekend. This is the weekend for the TrackRock hammerin isnt it?
 
I was planning on going and camping it, but then my lovely wife reminded me it's our anniversary this weekend, oops. At least she knew my memory was shot when she married me.

I will on the other hand, come h*ll or high water, at least fire up the forge and bang on something tonight or tomorrow. :)

And she's got me building a cat, play ground thingy, calls it the catcondo, so I'll probably have to work on that as well.

Still trying to get the shop in good shape, I've got some good clear space anyway, now devoid of carpeting(who the heck puts carpetting in a workshop?), so more of the shop setup too I guess. Looks to be a busy weekend.

Sorry to hear about your aunt Scott, prayers for ya.

Today it is pouring buckets and I just spent 2 hours on the back roads to get to work, so I'm a little salty. Tomorrow is going to be a good day, my sister is graduating from college. It's also a kick in the pants for me, I need to get back and finish, I've been doing a class here and a class there for the past few years. I don't think she knows what job she wants, but shes working for my father as a secretary right now, and will squeeze a nickel till the buffalo shitts, so shes okay for money. Shes gotta make a decision fast though!
 
Finished surfaceing parts fot two more folders. Have to find time to assemble them this weekend. Good forcast for w/e so the harley must ride. 1 week left for knife making then the final week is for all that leather work. Still have to get out spec sheet today. :D :cool:
 
12 hours of continuing education for me. Still have to plug away on Kim's knives, and I keep getting "bothered" by people (joking... those are interruptions I like!) for more Tactical Orange Peelers. I need to have a whole sheet of stainless laser cut for that pattern and just knock 'em out! :D
 
I will be at the Trackrock hammer in. In the afternoon I will give a little seminar on sheath making and meet my friends in the Georgia Custom Knifemakers Guild. Hope we have a good showing! ---Sandy Morrissey---

Its a long weekend here in Canada. so the wife gets monday off. Me on the other hand I'll be in the shop trying to get caught up enuogh to maybe go fishin.
