"Friday night and I need a fight, my motor-sickle and a SWITCHBLADE KNIFE"

Love Crue, got me into metal in 2008 at a young age, saw 'em twice, two nights in a row. Sixx is a personal hero and love his book.
Lost my favorite switchblade knife, but lemme see what I can dig up...

And I never take a knife to a gun fight.

Switchblade!!?
This actually happened to me in 1/2 way between Monroeville & McKeesport. I had the same look on my face (she was worth it)

Went to see Billy Squire at Niagara Falls Convention Ctr. Started drinking shots of Southern Comfort in Springville. We carried Tina in. Nobody looked twice. That was Rock & Roll!

I often wonder why none of our immediate crowd was ever killed. We were nuts. That was just normal.
Wing nite Thurs. & a band, Fri. & Sat. nite blotto at the Rusty Nail (a slaughterhouse) Sun, a band somewhere wasn’t uncommon.
Mon. & Tues. were recovery days. Wed. was kind of productive. Then it was Thurs. again!

Well you got lucky. You sound about the same age as me and everyone i know had a few dead classmates, relatives, battle buddies, or whatever. Sunday morning and see who's car is upside down in the ditch was a game on the drive to church. Then there were the survivors, the one eyed kid, the kit with 7 fingers, the kid who couldn't grow their eyebrows back.

Yeah, I didn’t know wether to post a laugh face or sad…
Lets not forget these guys! My wife suprised me with tickets for their tour in Buffalo! 3 generations on hand! Very cool!

I no longer have a knife from the 80s. However I was just listening to the Misfits "Last Caress" as it's on one of my playlists. It's a weird playlist with rock, grunge, metal (including death metal), punk, blues, alternative, rap, nu metal, folk rock, and alternative. On shuffle it will string together interesting combinations of songs such as:

Slipknot's "duality" followed by Elmore James "dust my broom" followed by Knox Hill feat Crypt "Like it fast" followed by Alice in Chains "Down in a hole" lol

No a switch blade is a fun fidget toy and fishing trip cutting tool. They look so cool and original especially Italian styles. SWITCH BLADES ARE SOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOL AND FUN. THERE IS NOTHING THAT BEATS THE FIDGET FACTOR OF AN OTF NOT EVEN A DEMKO AD20.5/20. FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUUUUUUUUUUUUN. Every chap should own one everywhere. They are symbolic of good taste, style, and class.

A dessert warrior (pink glazed donut with multi color sprinkles color) Glock loaded super hot or even pepper spray would be a better choice if I had to defend my life during R&R and I won't be looking for fights because I certainly don't want or need them.

Heck, for me every night is motor-sickle/switchblade night :) .

These were the knives I carried while riding back in the 80's. Neither one a switchblade though.
