If it dips down out of the ninety's this w/e , I hope to work on some smaller knives I've been dreaming about.

If it stays hotter than hades, I guess I'll keep working on my "Ameritanterga"

I'm going with Nick. If I have any strength left after that I'm going to start laying out the handle on a BIG SURPRISE!
 
I'm going to clean my shop. :D Seriously. Then I might actually try to finish a knife.
 
I plan on heat treating 6 blades saturday.....the heading to a comedy club sat. night.

Taking the dog and my father down Ocean City, and leaving them there. :DNo, taking them down, and staying with the entire family until Wednesday. Looking forward to shooting some pool, drinking, maybe a little fighting, then some more drinking, with lots of ogling pretty ladies.

And thats just with the dog! :D


My father thinks we're going to get down there in about 2 hours. Little does he know that a friend of mine told me about a small knife shop outside of Dover. ;)

Work for me as usual. :rolleyes: Nothing major to work on as far as knives go until I get my small wheel attachment from Rob. Still tossing a few ideas around in my head. Have a good one everyone.

Saugatuck tonight for drinking and general debauchery, then working my ass off all weekend. I have 4 knives on order despite the fact that I keep telling people I'm not taking orders right now! :confused: How does this happen? Also this crazy a$$ vine is taking over my yard and it's creeping under my siding through the power lines, so I have a wonderful opportunity to dust off my Ross Aki Straight Back Machete and drop nuclear retribution on this thing! Hopefully I can track it back to the root system and bust nuclear khukuri restribution on it, too! Take that, vine sucka! Did I mention it's been a long week for me?
 
Golf Baby! 18 today at 8am, 18 tomorrow at 8:37 and I haven't managed to ruin
Sunday with it yet but I suppose I will. Golf has ruined me. I've had the boat in the water twice this summer. I've not worked on a knife in months. Stupid game.
 
Leaving for the airport in a few minutes to make a 16 hour day trip to my new employeer's head office in Nor Cal, then it's spend all weekend with teh wife as I've spent teh last two in the shop getting ready for, then setting up the new KMG. No shop time for me this W/E (DAMN it's early!).
 
It is going to be around 102, so naturally I will be helping someone move. :(

Also going to re-heat treat a folder blade -- I forgot to do the tang so the detent ball makes a little "screeeech" as it opens. :D
 
By the way Mark, I think you wanted to use the plural of "Dingus." But what is that? Dinguses? Dingii? :D Someone with a better command of the language than me (and Mark!) needs to fill us in. :D
 
I think the correct word would be "dingi" coming from the latin "dingus." The problem, however, is that everyone will want to pronounce the word like "ding-gee" as in dirty. I suggest the spelling be "dinghi" which if you know Italian, would at least get you the hard "gh" sound we're looking for.
