Friday Post ya Dingus

I'm going to work 3 12 hour midnight shifts, deal with the sick public, and get very frustrated with all these "sick" people. The Emergency room is for emergencies, not "If your pregnant at 3 in the morning". If anyone works with the general public, try working with them when they are sick. I hope I don't sound mean. Really, really sick people I like (love) helping, It makes me feel good, just the 95% other stuff that could wait to see a regular doctor that gets old. I've got to have time to sit down and read my Blade magagine. I changed my scheledule so I could do knifemaking 4 days a week. I was kinda getting burned out, cant ya tell. Also I have XM satellite radio and I love Opie and Anthony, the are Howards rivals. Sorry about the rant.

We're getting my dad a Sirus for Christmas- he's riding from Texas to Cali for the Rosebowl with one of his friends and we figuered it'd come in handy.

Gonna be another all nighter in the shop tonight. Trying to get stuff done for christmas. Its gonna be tight getting these projects done in time and the bad part is I haven't gotten any of the other presents bought either.
Work tomorrow, probably sunday too. Whatever time I can get in the shop in between, sleep can wait :yawn:

school this wknd. got a deadline of 8pm Sunday to meet. me and a few friends we up to columbia earlier this week and did some crazy indoor bouldering (rock climbing). i hadn't been in a while so i'm still ridiculously sore lol but it's all good. i have no money to go Christmas shopping with, and i hate shopping anyway so it works out all right.... well unless i'm shopping for tools...but that's why i don't have any money hav a great wknd ya'll.

I think "Dingus" is singular. The plural for Dingus must be "Dinguii", or maybe "Dinguses"? Let's keep our grammar clean here!

Me, I'm going nowhere near the shop. It's been a couple months since I've been down there and have no drive to do it yet. Maybe when my garage roof is done and Christmas is over. Putting shingles on the last half of the garage today. It's about 20 degrees - perfect roofing weather!

Yeah, I'll be very careful! Last weekend we were in freezing rain when we stopped - you can imagine I was sitting on my butt nailing felt down... But if I do fall and die, I promise you can have some of my stuff. I'll write it down before we go to work: "If I fall off the roof and die today, Michael Burch, "Burchtree" on BF, gets all my handle materials." But I hate to whet your appetite for my demise: I promise I'm not going to fall off and die. So don't hold your breath. Besides, there's so much snow piled everywhere I couldn't get hurt if I did fall.

Edited to add: Okay, I wrote that down and taped it to my desk. So you're good if I'm dead.

Sorry Michael, I survived. 'Course, we only got about 3/5 done before we froze out, but the deal was only good for one day anyway. Better luck next time!
