Friday

I actually had a snow day. no work at all. I actually felt guilty about staying home. Then I looked into the eyes of my beautiful wife, and then we sat down to talk. I spent a couple of hours playing with my kids too.
More steel to make.

I actually got in here ahead of IG! He's probably still digging out of that blizzard. As short as he is, it doesn't take much snow. I have been doing the bank and errands with my wife today, being the only driver. I haven't even fired up the heat in the shop today, gonna do that tomorrow. It's so dang cold here that even my squirrel dogs want to stay inside. I have a bunch of hunters to get done and have parts scattered all over the shop. I have a new project, a series of knives for a returned vet I work with. I am going to start them when I get the rest of the hunters finished. They will be functional combat knives, but display knives because of the materials. My customer is springing for the high dollar materials. Hey, Tic Toc, I hope you get healed up quick, and the tendons are OK.
 
I got a twisted handle boot knife to finish and 2 neckers.
Maybe I'll get a second twisted handle done and put it in the for section.
Hey Masta....You ever do anything with that black stuff.

Gonna work on getting the shop (ie. garage) up and going to I can try some of the fun things I've been reading about here ('cept losing a knuckle; that doesn't sound like fun :p)

That's gonna take up half of Sunday so I can get ready to see the accountant on Monday and get the verdict. Some holiday!

It seems to be raining and cold here in Sunny Southern California, so besides that I'm hoping to be locked in teh shop putting handles on four pieces so I can show some stuff at the Pasadena Knife Expo next weekend. I won't have a table or be selling anything, just want to be able to show what I've been up to to some online buddies in person:)

I have a good 4 X 4 (made in USA) not like yours. I don't worry about blizzard's, I am a tall Portagee and not a short LIL" Redskin like you.:p :p
You are so short that when you hunt your Treerats you have to jump up when they are on the ground and hit them in the head with a stone. HEHEHEHEHE!!!:p :p

Oh, yeah? A tad over 6' , 188 pounds of sinew and muscle killing machine Redskin, you runt! As for my truck, I park my big 4X4 mean Tundra on top of Dodges! How you doing, Mr. Rascal? I am having trouble sending email to you. I was worried because you haven't been here, too. I thought all Portagees were midgets, by the way. I just fired up the heater in my shop, it's about -3 here. I'm going to get a haircut and then spend the rest of the day in the shop, it it gets warm enough in there.

HA!!! 6' tall how are measuring that with you sitting on the top of a Pinto ( The car not the horse). Come over here and I'll give you a haircut or do they call it scalping???????:eek: :eek: I do have a knife sharp enough too. :p :p GrassHoppa made it for me. HEHEHEHE!!!!
 
Better yet, I will just have Mike spank you, Mr. Rascal! He lives only 7 minutes from you and takes care of my light work.
