hey guys.. here's a few pics from over night camping trip on friday.. we went down to the Pinnacles Natl. Monument, which is about 1 hour and 45 min. away.... we hadn't made any reservations, so we only stayed fri. night and we did a nice hike on saturday...

it ended up working out great.. we camped with 2 other families and our friend Greg, so we opted for a group site which accomidates up to 20 people... it was a lot of fun... we usually make our way out there a few times a year... i also grew up in a town which is about an hour from here...

this place is amazing.. it's got some great rockclimbing too... there are also quite a few caves to explore...

i love this area, especially this time of year, with the rolling green, oak covered hills.. it reminds me a lot of my youth...

some views from our campsite...

Great stuff Mike, makes me want to hurry up and get out camping now !:(

Hope you obeyed that sign and didn't have any weapons with ya on the trail or do any short cutting for that matter.....someone would be real mad if ya cut their shorts !!!!:D

Really nice stuff Mike - makes me forget about the hail we had today :)

Great trip Mike. Nice and green out there, it's starting to get that way here.

You should convex your Izula. Just did mine today, and it's a huge improvement!

Great stuff Mike! Looks like the whole gang had a blast bro!!

That place looks beautiful, I love the land scape!

Great stuff Mike!

I'm glad you got to spend all that time with your family and thanks for sharing the pics!

Right on Mike, looks like a great trip! I love those Caves!!!! I love the poppies, we've been seeing them a lot lately on our little local hikes.

The kids and Mrs. are looking as good as ever.

Thanks for sharing the pics!

P.S. No road trip is complete without a stop to In-n-Out...

Great trip, I like the Pinnacles. We have camped there with our scouts several times.

And yes, it seems that these days no scout trip is complete if we do not stop at In-N-Out.
