Not only did I find a Tampon, but upon further study it is a "grande heavy flow" Tampon.

I don't know who it was intended for but I'm glad it wasn't me.
 
I once posted that I had no tolerance of whiners. Then I got jumped on by some members for being too hard on new members. So I modified my position a bit. Now all is forgiven IF they use a tampon for an avatar for one month.
 
Don't worry Justabuyer. No one thinks that you started this thread or asked the question you did for any malicious reasons. Inquiring minds want to know, and now we do. It was perhaps a heated and controversial discussion, but a good one. At the very least I come away with a better regard for Steelnut...so we can all learn to agree to disagree. ;)
 
I do believe GRANDE makes that puppy a collectors item!
Sure to sell in the exchange for $400+ in a few years!!!:D

This post has been around the world. Someone made a great suggestion earlier in this thread in regards to the negative posts concerning how Busse operates the business. Consider this as food for thought: Why doesn't someone in the know , and by that I mean Skunk, Jerry, or a very well respected long term member, post a sincere "if you are new to Busse Combat Forums please read this" post and stick it (make it stay there) at the top in bold for all to see. Describe how the main Busse Combat site works, how the company store works and what its about, along with how the Busse knife offerings in general work. It might include approximately how often new knives come around and how long they stay on the main site, how many might be offered at a time, how the company store works, the fact that you can choose options on one and buy what they have in stock at the time on the other, extravaganzas, etc: It's all quite a mystery at first! Helping build Busse business and interest in his products was eluded to in this thread as well. I'm not sure he needs any help but this tutorial would help a lot of newbies understand how it works and what to do to score INFI. It just might keep down some of the same old whiney posts that you are so tired of, as well as help continue to build a tight knit group instead of breeding the "whats in it for me" so commonly referred to. They are obviously curious or interested or they most likely would not bother coming here at all. I know there are exceptions who come here just to bust balls! Lots of us newbies are not bad folks! Send em to the link if they post a whiny topic. Don't respond after that. Don't lash out at them. Save yourselves a lot of grief and stress. Lashing out makes your community look bad anyway. I committed this very same "unpardonable whining sin" on the Busse Forum when I first came here. I got a lot of grief over it from a lot of high numbered posters. I think a simple, here kido, go read this, would have made me feel like a bigger jerk. Now to be fair, I also had some very nice comments and personal email to help me as well. Since then I have read, paid attention, and learned how to navigate and score. I spend a lot of time here these days and intend to continue to do so in the future. I have noticed in the last few days that a lot of folks were going out of their way to help people. I have not seen that for a while and I think that threads like this have helped to turn that tide. Guidance is occasionally preferable to a good ol fashioned ass whippin. I believe what I described is one of those occasions. I hope this came across as a positive suggestion as I am not wishing to stir the pot but offering what I feel is a legitimate well intended suggestion for the enhancement of this forum.
 
What I still cannot seem to understand is why people do not see IT IS THE BUYERS OF ITEMS AT INFLATED PRICES THAT CREATE THE OPPORTUNISTIC MARKET!!!!

If a maker is charging more than the market wants to pay, their items will not sell, and their prices will stabilize to what the market will bear. The same with the flippers. If people would stop paying their inflated prices, they would not be buying "more than they need" in order to resell in an opportunistic fashion.

You may have your opinion, but how you present it determines how people perceive you, and it isn't lookin too good right now.

For everyone else, stop the personal attacks.

If you want to argue/discuss sales and market philosophies, do so, but do not resort to personal attacks.

Insults will not be tolerated. There is no need.

i formed the opinion bld was a troll pretty quickly and he was off to my paynomind list.

i commend those who are more patient with posters like him, but my patience runs out pretty quickly.

guess we need all kinds to make the world go round.
 
Dialton, there is a sticky at the top of the forum that explains how the Busse site works.

The Company store was created to become a buffer to be able to meet market demand for models from the time they are taken off the site until they come back in a later generation.

Stinky and Jerry sit down, break out the Magic 8 Ball, 3 Ouija boards, the I Ching, 4 decks of Tarot cards, and bring in the kid with the funny ears and 6 toes per foot that can see the future, and try to determine what number of each model SHOULD be able to meet HISTORICAL demand.

I know there have been a couple times where what was expected to be a long term quantity was sold out in less than 2 weeks.

I never said there wasn't heat, it is when that heat boils over into name calling and other such ignorance that the discussion is over. This is a moot point in my book since Jerry clearly explained how things work. He makes the rules for the Store. We can discuss all we want, Jerry has it the way he likes it and I think it works just fine. Neither he nor Skunk nor any of the rest of us have control over the resale flippers save for the fact that we can educate the new guys and try to make sure folks know that what they are doing isn't up to the standards of the group as a whole. I am not sure how you would go about that, but that is the bottom line in my book. Maybe you can strt your own website and make a most wanted list of thefolks you suspect of being INFI flippers and link it in your sig line or something. If you want to help the new guys out and even the field a little it will be through raising buyer awareness not the blood pressure at the trough.

bld522, I took it upon myself to follow your suggestion regarding making Jerry's post a sticky becuase I thought it was relevant info that should be readily available. As for the rest of this pot stirring you've helped facilitate, I reserve my opinion. It may be me in my "old" age, but this thread has left one heck of a sour taste in my mouth, not for the topic discussed but for the way in which it was discussed overall.
 
For the record, Progunner, and with all due respect, my post that you quoted was taken out of context and misleading in the sense that it does not make clear that it was my response after what I perceived to be a provocative post directed at me. However, I do agree with you that personal attacks are unnecessary. I did make an effort to patch up the unpleasantness that occurred between myself and the other forum member, and we seemed to have reached an understanding and moved on. The remainder of my posts in this thread attempted to focus only on the issues.

Hmmm. . . I just read this thread, and now I clearly see where bld522 derives the ridiculous delusions he keeps hinting at all over the Scrap Yard forum, (and yet refuses to spell out). Pathetic. Stop stinking up the forums with your trolling grudge.
 
I wish this thread would just get closed now... I don't want it to start competeing with the Strider thread as the worst Thread ever.
