Would love to add abother Ka-Bar to the collection. When we are out in the woods me and my oldest son carry a BK9 and the 2 younger ones carry BK2's. These knives get worked hard.

On this day in 1918, Maj. Maurice E. Shearer, with 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, submitted a report stating that Belleau Wood was "now U.S. Marine Corps entirely."
After 20 days of combat, and at a cost of more than 4,000 casualties, the Marines had proven their courage. The grateful Commander of the French Sixth Army would soon decree that in all official correspondence, Belleau Wood would henceforth bear the name, "Bois de la Brigade de Marine."
