I can't seem to get the search to work I only get a blank page:grumpy: . I am trying to find a tutorial for making friction folders. Thanks for the help:)
 
Most buckskinner books have a plan. If you look at the ones DC Knives makes

you will se that it is not particularly difficult to figure out. They are the simplest of all folders to do. You could probably make a box full and sell them at a rendezvous . Any handle material will work as long as it is strong. Even metal handles work.

He delights in primitive approaches ( what he calls "snake belly technology" i.e. doing it by hand with a hammer and fire ) but the knife he turns out is what you are talking about............
