Glad the package got there safely. The Alox was given to me by a fellow I was renting a boat from when I was doing some work on the Winnipeg River in Manitoba. It was a company knife. I am pretty sure it was Albany Felt. I looked the company up and it is headquartered in New York State. Maybe they had a plant in Manitoba?

I did some searching its called a Settler and probably an older version with the small clip blade.

It said that the coloured versions where often marketing knives,a very good marketing gift I would say.

It just kind of bought home that we are a community and intertwined in some ways.
