From dial-up to DSL today/tomorrow

When I went to the broadband it was great! I could download stuff at 10X-12X the rate I used to.

I could read 5-6X more than I did before, in teh same time frame? It's like a whole new internet out there!

I remember someone giving me a slow ( 66MHZ ) pentium and upgrading to 133MHZ! Whoa :D

I thought it was flying, and I look back now and it seems like I never got it out of first gear. Hey, 12 or 15 miles an hour is faster than I could run even back then. ;) :D

My DSL is half the price of your cable :p Actually, I'm jealous, but I can't afford cable in my area ($45 a month). I pay less for DSL than I did for AOL.

Cable internet service here is $29.95 per month (includes $10 discount for also subscribing to cable TV channels though) Once you get on the broadband needle, ya can't go back to dial up. Speed is a drug!

If I didn't have DSL, I'd probably go outside once in awhile.

This way I minimize the risk of skin cancers.

Pale skin is a sign of aristocracy.
