Hi everyone, I am in the Lima airport waiting. Mike and Jeff should be home in a few hours. The trip was a success and the Dutch film crew survived and made it out of the jungle. Got to play with lots of blades and spend some quality time alone in the jungle at night. More to follow. I am waiting for my flight and when I get home I have to leave the next day for my Mt. Whitney Trip where I will hopefully finish my Gossman/TOPS article. Then when I get home from all that I can post pictures and give a full jungle report.

Thanks, still got about two hours before I can check in but I will only be online for about 20 more minutes.

I`m looking forward to seeing some patina on those carbon steel blades you took!

Bear,

Do you have a "Whitney-in-a-day" scheduled? That's been on my to do list for years. Keep us posted please.

Jeff

Great, I for one can't wait to see your pictures. The Amazon trip is tops on my things to accomplish in the future list.

Thanks

Glad to hear from you again. Man I can't wait you post the pics of the trip and knives. It's good to hear that everyone made it out okay. One of these days I'm going to have to go on one of those trips to the jungle.

I'm working in Africa right now, but have called Peru home for the past five years, I'm currently living in Lima. Next time you are passing through send me an email, we can grab a pisco sour and ceviche and talk about sharp things ... I'll be back near the end of August.
