Well I'm sure we have all seen Coops' outstanding kit knives by now . I ask him to work over one of my LCC/DA for me a few weeks ago and the following pics show his outstanding talents once again . He took a very good but plain as sin knife and turned it into a near custom knife . He was a real pleasure to deal with and I could not be happier with the knife . The bolsters and the back bar are really neat touches , the bolsters were taped off and then beadblasted and the hollows on the back bar were painted for contrast . I would recommend Coop to anyone looking for custom work and wish him well in his forray into the world of customizing . His attention to detail is amazing !

Thanks for the kind words guys . We really wanted something wild for this LCC and I think Coop acheived it . The back bar makes the knife look like it is about to eat something and is really pissed off :D . I want to have him work over a couple more in different patterns soon .

Thanks for looking

Jerry

Great filework! I like it.

Coop is a real artist. His obvious talent has lead to an incredibly speedy advance in the quality of his work. This was beautifully done.

...and to the rest of youz guyz! ;)

Boy, I LOVE this knife! I was unfamiliar with the LCC, and once it arrived and I undressed it I was REALLY impressed.

Jerry gave me the liberty to do a little something different, and I drew up some designs and then got cuttin'! The bolsters happened as a experiment to duplicate something I'd seen on Rob Brown's knives and it really helped the side profile. After looking over the backspacer filework, I thought it looked too 'busy' so I tried the paint in the hollows. HELLLLLLO! My wife said it looked 'ANGRY!' (Matches the shark logo well!)

I polished all the screw hardware on it, and satin finished the liners and clip. What isn't so clear in the pic is a fine .016" red spacer we put on the scales. (Jerry's good idea.)

Thanks Keith for the support. As he knows, I am slowwwwwwwly embarking on my own knives soon, and am busying myself with kits and customizing as it helps. Each one humbles me and teaches me. :D

If working with all future 'customers' is the enjoyment I had working with Jerry, I'd be a VERY happy man. Jerry is a gentleman as well.

 That is by far the best looking filework I've seen to date. I think you'll definitely be hearing from me soon.

Coop,

That is very impressive.. It is clear that you are really developing your talent.

Great Job...

:)

Thanks for all the comments guys . I just can't beleive how fast Coop has progressed . He really has a natural talent .

Jerry & Coop,

I must have 'oogled' that file work 20 times! I've always liked symetrical file work but your asymetrical combo is wild & exciting! Great work!
