From Plain Jane LCC to .. Custom by Blade747 ( Coop)

I too have always been a very sadate filework person . I just wanted something different for this tactical( oh there goes that niche word ) . Coop was free to do his thing and it turned out great . It is funny how few folks noticed this knife before when I carried it and now people are bugging me to see her because they see the filework at the top of my pocket .

I know some are saying that the low profile has been compromised but I only carry her now when I am going out a little more dressed than usual and my defense blade is never in sight anyway .

I loved the picts on showing how a knife goes from nothing to a showstopper !! You really have me thinking about this plain Large Sebenza I have on the way .
It sure would come to life with some filework perhaps :D

Keep up the great work sir !

I see what you mean about the view but , my take is without it, side is plain and top is plain . I guess everything is a trade off . Great take on it anyway , to each their own .

Hey you guys--thanks for the compliments! Yeah, I've often considered what to do to the *side* of a blade to get a nice pattern from that angle. I'm always disappointed with sideviews myself. Not so much that it looks ugly, but just that you can't see the pattern!!! I want more!

I've gotten really good responses from my posts--and I have had a number of folks emailing me for possible customizing on their own knives. Man, I have to know when to say 'no' and right now I am so strapped for time, that I can't consider any projects for a couple of months. I am involved with coaching youth rowing for the next two months and a number of other kit projects have been committed. Project time is rare. So the bad news is I can't do anything for a short while. :(

We all agreee that communication is key, and I'm being honest with myself and you guys, too. Try me again in a couple months, if you're still interested. Jerry happened to catch me at the right time.

Thanks,

Coop
