I had an opportunity last week to get reaquainted with an old friend and get to know another. I bought this Endura in 92 or 93 I think. It was the first time I spent any real money on a knife. Remember those days? After sending it in a couple of times and having the integral clip replaced it wound up in the back of my knife drawer. I sent it Steve at STR BYKM and he replaced the clip with a blue titanium one that looks great. He also removed some stains from the blade and made it look new again. Thanks Steve you are the greatest.
The Delica was bought off the exchange for just $10.00 and when I received it I realized the tip had been broken right down to the serrations and the top line reprofiled. It wasnt that bad of a job but just wasnt quite right. I gave it to Tom Krein at Blade in ATL and told him just treat it like it was yours. I stopped by his shop last week and he was finished except for putting the final edge on. It was amazing to watch him work a belt sander and polishing wheel. His comment while was polishing "this baby will not wont to do anything when I finish except cut something". This knife is screaming sharp.
Sorry for being so long winded.
