David,
Knice set of blades you have there and they are well matched by Pauls work.
I even saw a couple of FOLDERS on your web page.
Nice work.

Heh...thats my one and only folder....came out nice, but just havent gotten around to making more as I have been lured by the elusive hamon gods and have been focused on clay hardening lately....I do need to update that webpage badly...no recent pics and missing lots of galleries...

Codger,
Ya gotta tell us,
Your 15OT folder?
Slip joint, Liner lock or Photoshop.
:)

David, you do very, very beautiful work. Thanks for visiting the Schrade forum here and displaying your knives.

I'm packaging up a knife right now for our resident sheathmaker to make a couple of holders for. What I like about Paul is that he will LISTEN to his customer and accept the challenge of making something out of the ordinary.

Anyone else got one of Paul's sheaths to show off? Larry, don't you have one for a 171UH?

Phil

All very nice...knives and sheaths.

You know Larry, after studying Codger's Tennessee scorpion knife, I'm pretty sure it utilizes the ultra rare "Crop" lock. It takes a special program to make one of those knives, I guess.
I'm sure that Paul could make a proper sheath, even for that gem. Probably use the hyde of one of those super rare and endangered Naugas LT talks about sometimes.

Larry, I still can't get it to fold. And Bill, the sheath works O.K. It's just a bit difficult to get the knife in and out, but I'm working on it.

Well Michael,

If Paul made that sheath, he does listen to his customers, just as Phil said, even if he can't believe them...

Is that your version of the Emerson "Wave" quick draw system???

It looks sort of like the elusive "curveball throwing knife" from threads of old.
