From what you've seen and heard, what's first??

I'm leaning toward the Satin Jack. If I remember correctly, it's actually a second cousin to the SH2 - the design and dimensions are very, very close. iSkunk had a SH2 at BLADE that just grabbed me, and a new Satin Jack will be much easier on the pocketbook.

Tohatchi,

The dimensions of the SH2 are likely to be much closer to the dimensions of the FSH than to any Satin Jack.

The dimensions in terms of blade length of the SH1 is very similar to the NO-E. But the SH series got a bit beefier and lengthier in the second generation and thinned out some for the Ergo series.

For me it will be a F-NO. Blade length sounds just about right for my needs right now. Then will have to add an AD and FSH:cool:

When IdahoSkunk had his SH2 out, I was comparing it to the new line, and one of the blades was definitely very close in length and width, but it wasn't the FSH. The FSH got longer and much wider. Maybe my match wasn't a Jack. Doggone memory.

Tohatchi,

You're probably thinking of the new SF Natural Outlaw. It looks a lot like a cross between the Steel Heart 1 and SH2.

It's wild man. . . .wild.

There Jerry goes, talking himself out of a sale. I was going to order a Jack, then it wouldn't be right and I'd have to order another one. Eventually, I'd probably have worked myself all the way through the new line twice over. Then again, that may happen anyways. :D

And a final smilie for the wallet

:D :D :D
