Happy New Year everybody, here is my last offering for 2011.
Frontier Bowie hand forged from Aldo's 5160H carbon steel. There are still some forging pits along the 1/4 inch thick spine. Sharp enough to shave the stubble off your face it's a big ole blade. Here are the specs and pics.
Steel- Aldo's 5160h X approximately 1/4 inch
AOL- 15 1/2 inches
Blade- just shy of 10 inches
Finsh- Belt finish with hand sanded flats
Handle- 5 1/2 inches
Wood- Curl Black Walnut
Harware- Brass
Sheath- RH hand sewn sheath from 8-9 ounce vegetable tanned leather tooled and finished.
