Frost Cutlery & Kershaw

If you bought the frost to learn on then I think it will serve that purpose well. Don't let someone tell you that what you bought is garbage.

I think some people forget that there are knife enthusiasts in all tax brackets. (not specifically talking about you). If there was a member here who exclusively bought frost cutlery knives because that's what he could afford and enjoy, then who are we to judge?

Not a bloody thing wrong with purchasing an inexpensive knife. But from a company that advertises its assisted-opening folder as a "speedsafe", and drills a hole in the blade of a folder then calls it a "Spider-Eye", and steals names and trademarks from virtually every legit manufacturer in existence, and lies about where the products are made?

That's simply aiding and abetting a thief. To each his own.

I feel that if you bought something you like and it was reasonably inexpensive and will serve your purpose, then you're a winner! Enjoy your knife.

There is nothing wrong with that knife for it's intended purpose you'll catch the hang of sharpening in no time theres even a whole sub-forum on here dedicated to that lots of good reads.

You'll probably have a hard time finding Benchmades at gun shows since they upped their dealership requirements last summer. :o

It's kind of aggravating to see forum members putting down someone's purchase. It's bad enough to get criticism from people that don't like knives and don't get our hobby, but to get it from people that share the same interests is just asinine.

Gerber copy or not, that Frost looks pretty good for what you paid. It looks a lot better than some "name brand" knives I've bought over the years.

Well said, fellows! People should be encouraged along the path of knife collecting and using, not derided for their choices.

What company are you talking about? I'd like to know.
